Over the last year the distinct experience of the professional Black woman has been on display like never before.

Research, blogs, and articles have highlighted the professional experience for Black women typically includes the following:

  • Gaslighting

  • Microaggressions

  • Underestimation of competence in talents and abilities.

  • Under compensation

  • Suffocation of authentic self

  • Suppression of emotions

  • Overlooked for promotions

  • Lack of inclusion in social opportunities.

As a result, many who’ve had enough of the limits of their industries have decided to bet on themselves by starting their own business, downgrade from management level roles, or step up to the challenge to lead their organization’s into a more equitable and inclusive reality.

Whether choosing to lead as an employee or entrepreneur, there’s no escaping the impact of systemic racism within your work, and well being.

Are you wondering why you always feel exhausted, even though you invest regularly in self care?

You’re taking the yoga class, booked the solo spa trip, gone to therapy,  attended brunch with your girlfriends... yet the depletion remains.

It takes exquisite and RADICAL intention to create an environment that supports your brilliance and well being.

The sustainability of your success can no longer rely on the faulty foundation your career has been built upon. Your physical, and mental health deserve to be at forefront of your professional choices.
